It is often said that the most important part of any company and business is its people and this is certainly the case with Iain A Grieve.
Whilst retaining all the friendly and approachable personal service which comes from a family run business, Iain A Grieve also encourage in its personnel a professionalism and commitment to excellence whether in the office staff or trades.
We achieve this by implementing all relevant and official training resulting in the achievement of high, industry standard, certification of our staff. At the core of our continued success is our staff and we are proud to be recognised as an investor in people.

Painters and decorators at Iain A Grieve are all time served professionals and we are also committed to the on-going professional training of our apprentices.
The quality of our work is dependent on the skills of our well trained and motivated team, where ultimately our customers see the benefits.
In addition to training our tradespersons to CITB (Construction Industry Training Board) standards, receiving all the relevant accreditation, we also participate in the Construction Skills Certificate Scheme (CSCS).
|
Appropriate skills go hand in hand with safety and security and to this end we take the safety of our staff, customers and the general public very seriously. Comprehensive health and safety training is provided and each person to use designated equipment is trained to IPAF Certificate standards. Among a staff of 10, four have also received certification in first aid.
All work carried out by Iain A Grieve is insured for customer peace of mind and we are members of the Painting and Decorating Association where all work is conducted in accordance with their code of conduct. Most of our work comes from previous satisfied customers and word of mouth and we recognise the importance of maintaining our high standards at all times.

Davie and Eric's best efforts deserve an ovation as much as any singer.
I like to see a good professional at work anytime, anywhere – sportsman, ploughman, musician, joiner, or any one of a hundred other jobs where we expect good performance, but might underrate the skill...
I've never applauded a tradesman, although I came close for the way Davie and Eric transformed our living room and kitchen, but their best efforts do deserve an ovation as much as any sportsman or singer. Next time."
